Organizational History
BAMPAC has a long history of supporting candidates through political advocacy. Over the years, we have helped hundreds of candidates run successful campaigns and serve faithfully at the local, state, and federal levels of government.
Our support includes providing organizational and political strategies that ensure candidates remain competitive throughout an election cycle. We also influence the political arena through issue advocacy and community support programs, with BAMPAC officials frequently appearing on television and radio programs to promote our approach to public policy.
BAMPAC’s efforts extend to high-profile media outlets, with sponsored television, radio, and print advertisements appearing in publications like MSNBC and Black Enterprise Magazine. Additionally, our “BAMPAC Scholars” program provides scholarships to outstanding students in the Washington, DC area, helping to foster future leaders in our community.
